Paperplanes implemented a targeted follow-up strategy using direct mail to remind approved customers of their active quotes. For leasing customers, we sent timely reminders of their approval status, whilst finance applicants received personalised communications highlighting their active quote status and available vehicle options. Each mailer was designed to create urgency and facilitate an easy path to purchase.

Our campaign generated strong uplift in total leasing contract value, with an impressive average order value much higher than non mail counterparts. The leasing segment achieved a substantial jump in conversion rate 80% above comparative traffic. The campaigns generated a 15X return on ad spend and proved direct mail’s effectiveness for acquiring high-value customers in the automotive sector.
